Down with flu

If there’s a common illness that I so totally hate and want to avoid that would make the common cold and flu it. It causes your nose to block up or overflow with mucus, worse still backflow to your throat and make it itchy causing you to cough, and the cough will inevitably lead to a sore throat, and if your throat gets infected it could lead to a fever, it’s a bloody chain reaction! And this chain reaction is now happening to me, I reckon it started out with my colleague coughing, since I’m sitting next to her, I knew it would come sooner or later, and sure enough it spread on over to me, what with my dad coughing at home as well to further reinforce the infection, in a week or so of contact and I’ve contracted it as well!

Sore throats I hate, but an itchy throat is even more hated, what with the build up of phlegm and the duration it takes to go away, it’s been two weeks and it still won’t go away! Now I have a feeling that my throat is infected as well as the soreness just won’t go away as well. Just great, this had to happen on a holiday, sigh, takes the fun out of it, well at least I get to rest at home, so guess it’s not that bad after all.
