MIRC e-Marketing Conference

Today was the MIRC e-Marketing Conference, held at Equatorial Hotel, Penang. The tickets were priced at a very affordable price it’s almost a steal, imagine RM30 for two days, inclusive of two tea breaks and lunch (buffet). A very big thank you to MIRC for sponsoring the tickets, allowing a bigger crowd to be able to participate.

The day started out with a speaker from MDEC, talking about the various funds available for assisting startup businesses with creative and innovative ideas, specifically in the IT field. After which was a forum touching on whether SMEs in Malaysia are ready for e-Commerce. We were blessed with some industry experts who shared their views and ideas on the matter, which was rather interesting and enlightening.

There were some other topics being presented by various speakers from the industry, ranging from Blogging for Business, to e-Marketing, payment gateways, there were even experts from ebay and google explaining and giving their thoughts on the subject matter.

The lunch was a buffet affair, with some local delicacies such as curry sotong, chicken, fried mee, to the western selection of spaghetti, mushroom soup and salad. There were also some pastries and cakes on offer. Besides the food there were some exhibitors from Exabytes, Emerge, Rentwise, and MDEC, just to name a few. At the end of the day we were given a nice notebook courtesy of MSC and a CD with the presentation notes recorded in it, albeit the notes are incomplete and the supposedly available Google folder and ebay notes are missing, I believe there are other missing notes as well.

All in all, it was a nice conference, affordable and informative, looking forward to future conferences from MIRC, and please remember to keep the prices affordable.

I was a pleasure to attend this MIRC e-Marketing Conference since the ticket is affordable. The main thing that I like to attend this conference is we could get some revise and update from some expert from IT field. Unfortunately, it wasn’t as good as I thought as they keep compromise the nutshell than what’s inside.

two weakneses for this conference, time too short, 20 minutes not enough for most speakers to cover their topics, and the speakers mainly talk very basic things, but at least it’s cheap.

I tried to search for your post & apparently your blog posts have been re-indexed by Google. So here’s my question: How long does it takes for Google to re-index all your pages after you have resubmitted your sitemap? Please reply me at this email : Squall768@gmail.com
Hope to hear from you soon,
