Langkawi 2007
It’s been years since I last went to Langkawi, and the end of the year 2007 brings me back to this Isle of Langkawi. What I remember of the island is the huge eagle, cheap chocolates and of course the Underwater World marine park, yeah yeah not one of the biggest attractions on the island I know. I did not manage to visit a whole lot of places as I spent quite a lot of time at one place taking pictures, I estimate over one thousand shots were taken! It’s going to be time consuming to just go through the pics let alone edit them, so I will split the post into segments, covering each place I visited.
The first place I went to was Dataran Lang, usually this would be the last place people would visit before going back, but due to the timing and all this was my first destination. I still remember how I could not capture the whole eagle in one photo last time using my old camera (wide angle is so useful). This time would be different as I am equipped with my Canon 400D and (sadly) kit lens (hey it’s still considered wide angle), enabling me to capture the magestic eagle fully on one pic!
Well there really isn’t much about this place, big open space with a big ass eagle statue, and big wide ocean for you to enjoy the breeze. Ya that pretty much sums up this place, instead enjoy the photos I’ve taken around the place. Next up will be the Cable Car!

I saw people when there take cable car, and the view was nice, i think u sure like it since u are a photographer…

rumor has it that because there’s a military base on Langkawi, that eagle is actually a missile launcher in disguise!!

Hot. Hahaha. The sun was really scorching. When we went there, there weren’t much people. I like the place, really peaceful.
I didn’t see the cable car!!! Wah!!!

When did you visit Langkawi å®èŒ¹? The cable car is quite new, i think 2-3 years ago only.
