Ah Girl photoshoot

Last Saturday there was a photo shoot organized by Than Siang photography class. Chew Nee a.k.a. Ah Girl was kind enough to be our model for the day, braving the many photographers with their trigger happy fingers firing off their shutters as she tries to give us all attractive poses.
Well, it’s a model photo shoot, so I’ll stop here and let the photos speak for themselves, C&C welcomed!

nice set. and pretty model. =) i like file no 62 best, because of the expression and the consistency of body language with the background. grunge-y, edgy feel. i would crop closer though, and straighten a bit, perhaps. =)

I’m just an anonymous passerby attracted by ur innit title.
Well I think the model looks better without her smile, guess she’s tired smiling at camera that day, can see that through the tired eyes.
Erm… from my very unprofessional view, I think you shouldn’t take from lower angle, instead, you should try avoid her chin coz that’s a little too round to me.
Anyway, just some unpro opinion by some unknown.

Nice try, but i think you should pay attention to the chin and make sure she doesn’t tilt her head down.

hihi…nice photo. love the background of the historical Beach Street. oh, the model is pretty.ur shots are great, but there are still room for some improvement..keep up the good work.

No flash gun? Noticed you didn’t use much fill flash. Was it on purpose?

steph: thanks :D, I like the last few pics too, crop closer eh, will have a different feel then.

Joohui: good observation there, I noticed it while processing the pics, I could essentially photoshop it out, but then it wouldn’t be natural plus I’m a bit lazy for that :P, but yeah, I’ll keep an eye out for such detail next time.
KY: haha yeah, same observation as Joohui
J@s0n: yeah, there’s still lots of room for improvement, need more practice, more models, anyone willing to be my model?
DannyFoo: have flash gun, but wanted to avoid using it and use the natural lighting from the reflector instead, do you find the pics too dark?

hey..the 5th and 6th photo..
U should have check first before putting it up..
give more attention to the girl..
anyway..overall..the photo are nice..
