The Eye on Malaysia at Lake Titiwangsa has become an attraction to locals and tourists alike. A slow shutter speed was used to capture the busy crowd’s movement, resulting in a feel of movement in the photo.

Tip: Steady hands (a tripod would be better recommended), and a slow shutter speed and a small aperture are key to capturing this scene.

This is Christy from Diplomats of Drum, a local drum band consisting of 12 guys and 1 girl! A rather challenging shot with all the smoke on the stage. I waited for Christy to hit the drum and grabbed the shot, freezing Christy and her beautiful smile in sweet memory.

Tip: Patience and steady hands, a lens with image stabilization would be a great bonus!

One of the performers from Kenge Kenge, noticing his photo was being shot, turned to look at the camera with some unique antics.

Tip: Take advantage of the situation should a performer notice your presence and looks straight at the camera, it gives your photo eye contact.

This dancer from the group Badila is just amazing, twirling and turning her head, body and still able to maintain balance, very impressive indeed.

Tip: Dancers are hard to capture due to the fast movement and low light, be alert, be ready and be steady!
