Super Robot Wars Z

July 30th, 2008 | 2 Comments | Posted in Games

Just when you thought the PS2 had it’s final requiem of SRW games with SRW OG and OG Gaiden, Banpresto surprises us with yet another great offering from the series. This time around it’s SRW Z, with loads of new series coming into the game, plus a totally new way of presenting battles! You really need to see the video to see the difference and improvements made in Z. The battles look and feel more like their anime counterparts, with mechs zooming in and out of the screen, and dodging attacks more realistically. Enough said, watch the two videos below for an idea of what to expect!

Diablo 3

After a long 7 years since the last Diablo epic, Blizzard is finally coming up with the much anticipated sequel - Diablo III!! Yes once again The Lord of Terror is upon us, with the Soul Stones destroyed, peace was expected, but evil has a way of creeping back now doesn’t it? Heck if not there wouldn’t be stories to tell of and games to produce.

So far only two character classes are revealed, which is the all too familiar Barbarian, and a new and interesting class, the Witch Doctor. A very unique class with various spells and voodoo tricks up his sleeve, oops… he doesn’t really have one actually. Other than that, players are now able to choose the gender for their respective classes, although not much, but it does add a little spice to the experience.

Witch Doctor

There are some nifty new gameplay features as well, such as the ability to use environmental objects to crush your enemies with, e.g.: topple a wall on your enemies to crush them, set traps and more. The graphics have been improved, now you can explore the world of Sanctuary in all it’s 3D glory. Check out the official website for more juicy bits about this epic adventure!

Street Fighter IV

February 3rd, 2008 | 2 Comments | Posted in Games

After a long hibernation period for Street Fighter and for the matter of fact, for 2D fighting games, here comes Street Figher IV! Yes that’s right, the fighter that started all the 2D fighting madness is back with a new installation after a long hibernation period! It’s looking good so far, the graphics are 3D with a nice hand painted shading applied to the characters, thankfully the gameplay stays true to it’s predecessors by being 2D, some games are just better of being played in 2D and Street Fighter is one of them!

Look out King of Fighters, your big bro is back with a big hitter and it looks darn cool. I’m sure Playmore will be coming up with a new KOF title soon to counter Capcom’s efforts. The better for us gamers!!

Below is a teaser video of this highly anticipated game, enjoy!
